The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has on Wednesday, September 16, lost his uncle, Tijjani Sanusi.
The deceased who was until his death, the Wakilin Yamma of Kano, was said to have died in his 90s after battling a protracted illness.

According to Daily trust, Emir Sanusi had led the funeral prayer for the deceased held at Kofar-Kudu of the emir’s palace.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rites and the funeral prayers were led by the Emir at his palace.
