11-year-old Jamoneisha Merritt was scalded with boiling water in a “hot water challenge” during a sleepover with friends. The Bronx girl is now undergoing a remarkable recovery, despite 2nd-degree burns to her face, neck, and chest. An 11-year-old girl, who suffered horrific burns after friends poured boiling water on her face, left the hospital looking more like her old self, The Daily News reports.
