7 Million Pounds of Hot Dogs Recalled After Customers Complain About Bones

Next time you're at a summer barbecue, you might want to opt for a hamburger over a hot dog. The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Friday that it's recalling more than 7 million pounds of hot dog and sausage products from Marathon Enterprises Inc. due to contamination. Hot dogs sit in buns at the official weigh-in ceremony for the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 3, 2012 at City Hall in New York.
