Michigan Dems Unite to Challenge Tampon Tax

The so-called “tampon tax” debate has been a hot button issue for those in women’s rights since 2015, and has seen a lot of back and forth development in states such as California, Virginia, and New York. Michigan Democratic Party lawmakers are now banding together to end the taxation of the feminine hygiene product in the state after bipartisan efforts to do so in the past have stalled.
