On the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, President Donald Trump announced his pick to fill the seat on the Supreme Court vacated by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia last year: 49-year old Judge Neil Gorsuch. Gorsuch currently serves on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Denver, Colorado having served since his appointment to the bench in 2006 by President George W. Bush, and, if confirmed, will have a huge impact on American women’s health and access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care for generations to come.
