The Sunday Riley Bionic Lawsuit: Here's What You Need to Know

The Sunday Riley Bionic Lawsuit: Here's What You Need to KnowSunday Riley, the skin-care brand best known for fan favorites including its lactic acid treatment Good Genes and water-gel toner Martian, is currently under fire after a class-action lawsuit was filed against the brand's anti-aging cream, Bionic. The class action complaint, which was filed in early December of last year, as reported by legal news site, Law 360, centers around Bionic, an anti-aging cream made with aloe leaf extract, prickly pear extract, and copper. "Like a modern-day snake oil salesman, Sunday Riley … preys on consumers' fundamental fear of aging by marketing the [cream] as if it were an FDA-approved drug that could change the physical structure and function of skin itself," the plaintiffs, Helena Armstrong and Lynn Moore, stated in the suit.
