The Boy Scouts Banned an 8-Year-Old Transgender Boy — Is This Discrimination?

In a statement given to CBS News, the Boy Scouts of America clarified its decision, specifying, “No youth may be removed from any of our programs on the basis of his or her sexual orientation. While the Boy Scouts of America have changed their policies in regards to the sexual orientation of its members and troop leaders in 2015, the organization has no official, written policies pertaining to gender identity.
