Muslim Teenager Allegedly Harassed While Wearing Hijab on NYC Train Reported Missing

An 18-year-old Long Island Muslim teenager, who claimed she was harassed on a New York City subway last week, has has now been reported missing, according to the Nassau County Police Department. Yasmin Seweid was last seen leaving her home in New Hyde Park, Long Island, at about 8 p.m. on Wednesday wearing a black jacket, black head scarf, black yoga pants and a blue sweater. “I was harassed on the subway last night and it was just so dehumanizing I can’t speak about it without getting emotional,” she wrote on Dec. 2.
