Eze Obidiegwu Onyesoh has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is not the cause of Nigeria’s current economic problem.
The president has been criticised with the way he has handled the country’s economy but the traditional ruler of Nri in Anaocha local government area of Anambra has exonerated the president from any wrong doing.

NAN reports that the traditional ruler spoke on Friday, September 15 where he said past leaders for the current problems.
“Buhari is not our headache; corruption and looting of national assets were there before he came in.
“Corruption was institutionalised in the country and everybody acted with impunity.

“There was no discipline anywhere. So, we should stop blaming Buhari; rather, we should blame ourselves and do some self-examination.”
He urged Nigerians to give the president a chance to turn the country around as it was already in shambles before the election.
Meanwhile, President Buhari seems prepared to rescue local governments from the stranglehold of states and their governors so that they can continue to function as the closest to the people as he says he will support any constitutional amendment for that purpose.
